I reckon they can cope, just like Fulham staff and fans coped with getting home after the Sheff Utd match.

Certainly Henry's tweet would suggest that the direction to Ayre is to make sure this game goes ahead, and to pressure the PL into insisting Fulham stop acting the bollocks.
Unfortunately, once Fulham start talking about public safety, you'd think that in the end, they'll call the shots."I will make the boys feel your support"

Driving isn't an option in London, congestion has reached proportions where it can take 2hrs to do a 5 mile journey. Take the tubes out and put cars on the road and then the buses can't move either, with or without bus lanes. Euston to Fulham by bus would probably take an hour normally (just Googled and the #14 bus does the journey) but with no tubes it'll probably take double the timeOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostAnd what's with London's panic over a tube strike? They have the best public transport network in the country. Have Fulham not heard of buses, overground trains and taxis? Will be an absolute farce if it's called off because of this.

Why can't they get the train and walk the remaining 15 minutes to the ground?
As has been pointed out, it's not a legitimate concern on Fulham's behalf. If it was they would've raised it at some point in the last month and not two days before the match. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

They should, and it should be pointed out to the FA too. For the Fulham contingent it's not really a problem as they're all going to be used to making the trip. I haven't heard any whinging from Liverpool fans whose journey home is likely to be wet and prolonged.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostWhy can't they get the train and walk the remaining 15 minutes to the ground?

FA needs to be bombarded with the train schedules

Absolute load of **** this. As if all their 2000 staff will be screwed by the tube strike. Some of them can bloody walk in. Buses, overground and northern line will all be working, with some limited tube service on other lines. Difficult journeys, without doubt, but with so much notice the club could have put on minibuses to pick up those most affected. Load of ****. Play it or forefeit the cunt.
For any fans going, the route Norbs suggested is spot on. Allow some extra time for the journey, because it will be rammed, then it'll take you about half an hour to get in the ground from West Brompton.Like blood on iron
