    Fulham. Banana skin?

Whatever BR does, he's got to get them to produce a performance against that lot.

If we don't win on Wednesday today will be viewed as a freak incident.

    FYI
I started watching today's match 3 mins in. We were already 1-0 up.

Due to the kids, I left the room (very briefly) three times in the first half consequently missing the goals.

The missus (no interest in sport of any description) thought it was hilarious.

Regardless of what happens against Fulham today can't be viewed as a freak accident.

We've spanked Arsenal, Spurs and Everton so far this season. That's not 'a freak accident'

That being said we all know that our away form is dodgy and a draw against Fulham wouldn't surprise anyone

Definitely a potential banana skin. No one would be surprised if we followed up today's hammering of Arsenal with a 2-2 draw with Fulham.

I would love it if we went on a 8 game winning run (all Prem fixtures in Feb and March), starting with today's game. If we did (massive if) we'd be all but assured of a Champion's League place (in fact, we'd probably be fighting for the title).

Re: today. Unlucky We're first on MOTD at 10.30pm
      Another MASSIVE game

We can't afford to do another West Brom and drop points after a good result
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It is NOT a 'potential' banana skin, it is an actual banana skin; whether we will slip on it is uncertain.

                  What about Wile E. Coyote?
                  3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Palace hammering WBA today shows just what a poor result last sunday was, however it was only poor due to a mistake by Toure. If not for his mistake we'd have left with a comfortable 1-0 win.

Just hope we smash Fulham and get the 3 points.

Yep and constantly thrashing Norwich shows how abject City are.

Just goes to show that such comparisons are really not that meaningful in the bigger scheme of things.

Unfortunately I wouldn't be shocked if Fulham put in their best performance of the season against us win the game and then lose their next 5 before being relegated.
We're superior to this lot on every conceivable level but that was also the case for the Villa and West Brom games. It would be just typical of us to follow up an amazing performance with dropping points against a game raising relegation fodder side.

Today will never be viewed as a freak incident regardless of what happens in Fulham. If we get a draw or loss at Fulham we will just be viewed as a team who on their day can beat anybody and make it look easy, but do not have the consistency to challenge for the title.

                            I actually did once

I remember clearly thinking about its unlikely cartoon nature after I was helped to my feet by a passer by, who was laughing at me because he saw what happened. Felt a right tit!

I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
