There will be a strike tomorrow and will cover Wednesday too; unless the talks prevent it which is looking very unlikely

Not sure how important it'll be though, the ground is about a mile from the nearest tube anyway, and the nearest overground isn't that much further
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

The FA get enough fixture pile up problems, they won't be calling this off unless we have a severe storm. Fierce is right, the underground has nothing to do with Fulham's ground which is miles away from a station.
      One tit for another.

Yep, I'm the same, thinking about LFC morning, noon, and night! Can't even concentrate at work and I'm practically turning every conversation I have round to football matters

Could well be. We're going to the game and it would a complete mind **** trying to get there via the tube line.
          Are we winning?

Absolutely. Given that it's closed. Walking down it would be terrifying

Other than how busy the train and buses will be, it won't make much difference

Train it to West Brompton (crossrail from Clapham Junction) and it's only a 1.6 mile walk (33 mins according to Google)

Failing that, last time I went my mate parked just over Putney Bridge in Beamish Road (?) Parking was permit holders only in the nearby roads but restrictions finished at 6.30pm

Mad to think if Brendan had his way when he first joined, Henderson would be lining up against us for this game, and instead of having Coutinho we'd probably have Dempsey

pisstake if its called off what about boxing day matches on merseyside when there are no trains and little public transport found this in the mail atricle about it
The west London club feared they would not have the required staff numbers to safely operate a match if the Tube is unavailable. The nearest overground station is Putney and that is a 20-minute walk from Craven Cottage

Its a ****ing joke, 30k fans will make it there just fine so the excuses about not having the staff is utter bull****. If they cant fulfil the security obligations or whatever then the match should be forfeited, its not like there hasnt been any notice.

if they can pay players thousands a week surely they can fork out a few hundred to get the so called required amount of staff to the match without having to rely on the tube

Is the Arsenal game being called off too?
                            Oh I don't know.

If the game will be played I think we'll continue where we left off vs Arsenal.

Yes in the past our great performance is not necessarily followed up with equally good ones especially away but there is so much at stake and given what BR said the team seems to be very motivated not to drop any points in the game that could have a huge importance.

Such bull****, its enough to get the staff in place. When I used to work at old trafford for big games when they needed more numbers, they'd send a coach or two to liverpool to pick us up and drop us. They just don't want to play the game
