Don't believe so.....popped up there every now and then, but spent more time elsewhere.

****ing rubbish for the most part. By his standards.

I disagree that Coutinho was absent. He did a lot of good things and set up Gerrard for the shot that hit the post. Perhaps he plays better with a more energetic midfield (with Allen instead of Gerrard)?

Skrtel is to blame for that today. He was a complete liability in defence and his mistakes allowed Swansea back into the game.

Midfield did a poor job closing down space in front of our back four, but our personnel is seriously lacking too. We don't have one calm, assured defender in the team (Sakho being injured is hurting us too)

Agger used to be that but he looks ****ed.

We are the top scorers in the league.

Mignolet refusing to come off the line is also not helping

Skrtel must be creeping up on Carra's goal record?

Some obvious problems though, Mignolet adding to our defensive problems by not taking charge, the back 4 looking nervous and making so many individual mistakes and the midfield not offering enough protection just leaving too many gaps and attacking in too many numbers at times.

ANOTHER big result though, there was a lot of pressure on that game and for me it wasn't about the title race but with Spurs still so close to us and looking at their fixtures it was vital we kept breathing distance and make them have to react.
Joe Allen was excellent. We needed some calming down and he provided that with his simple play but also won some balls in midfield. I disagree with the sub though, think Coutinho should have come off and not Sterling.

Bizarre. Sublime attacking play with some wonderful goals coupled with some shambolic defending. We are mindblowingly bad at the back these days. Still a win is a win. Not bad for a one man team..
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

I think the whole defensive line is an issue that's caused a lot of doubt amongst the whole lot of them. Seems to me that nobody seems quite sure what the other players are going to be doing.

Some serious work needs to be done in the Summer on tightening this defence up

100% agree. I also blame Skrtel for getting 3pts today.........what a bollocks head.

Coutinho is excellent but today was a Luis Garcia like performance trying to turn in areas that were just too tight and when we needed to retain possession he was guilty of giving the ball away.

We'll see pal. We drop points in those and Spurs don't things will be bleak.

                                Hope we don't obviously.
