West Ham Post Match Ding Dong

Anthony Taylor was at the centre of a controversy during West Ham v Liverpool, overruling the linesman to give West Ham a goal and giving Liverpool a dubious penalty.
The referee received a lot of stick on social media, being the target of jokes and memes.
According to West Ham fan site Claret & Hugh, the referee was attacked in his car by West Ham fans upon leaving Upton Park.
An eye witness told ClaretandHugh: “One bloke led the charge and punched the windscreen several times trying to break it. There was a lot of serious language being used.
“It will be a miracle if all of that doesn’t go into Mr Taylor’s reports on events during the afternoon.”
Poor behaviour from the West Ham fans if true.

What was West Ham’s motivation for that game? They played like it was a CL final. At one stage about the 60th minute, that ****er Carroll was making a last ditch tackle on the edge of his box from open play. How could the same team have been so insipid just a few weeks ago against Untied when they were technically still fighting for survival, yet once they are safe they bust a gut against us? Then there was the changing rooms and bus etc, what’s that all about? Do they treat all teams like this? Bunch of c*nts.
In saying that, it was a good test though and will do our title chances no harm at all. We can’t win by 5 every week and the players had to dig deep and Rodgers had to make an important change to regain control of the game, so it was another important test passed. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Typical Allardyce really. His players didnt turn up against Utd when Utd were coming off iffy results. They were garbage even though needed points to avoid relegation. But were on their game yesterdAy
Flanno's was a pen for the reason Lennon said. Ball didnt go away and he took Flanno's trailing leg after deliberately. Really no controversy about it. Pretty clear

Imagine.....last day....against Newcastle....0-0....pen in the last 5 mins.Originally posted by wiw View PostInspired sub from Rodgers at half time, he's very good at identifying issues and correcting them quickly.
Gerrard must have the biggest balls in football. The pens he's scored this season
The pressure would be unbearable, but I would bet any money he would prevail."I will make the boys feel your support"

Thought it was strange at the time, needing a goal and bringing on a defensive midfield but it worked so what do I know!Originally posted by wiw View PostInspired sub from Rodgers at half time, he's very good at identifying issues and correcting them quickly.

However we would be playing Newcastle. So should be 17-0 up by that point
Yeah it did seem a bit strangeOriginally posted by G View PostThought it was strange at the time, needing a goal and bringing on a defensive midfield but it worked so what do I know!
You could see what he was doing though and it worked excellently

I was hoping he'd do it and was furious for not posting that exact suggestion earlierOriginally posted by G View PostThought it was strange at the time, needing a goal and bringing on a defensive midfield but it worked so what do I know!
He didn't bring on a defensive midfielder though, Lucas played in Allen's position and I thought he did pretty well considering how long he's been out
I've got no doubt that had Allen been fit enough, he'd have either started or been the one to replace CoutinhoI saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet
