Aye Rivaldo's v Valencia was like a scissor kick from 20 yards. Last minute, completed his hat-trick and got them in the CL. Watched it live in the pub, it was amazing

I knew it was important...ok, not league winning important, but it was still a dream finish to the match. If we can do something similar (but for league glory) it would be something to remember for aeons!

Enjoyed that. Deportivo eh, so many of the smaller teams have strived for greatness only to miss out narrowly, then fade away....losing all their best players, i remember Sampdoria in Italy doing well at one point, with the bald winger (forget his name), did Deportivo ever win a title i wonder ? So close, soooo damn close.

The thought of having to go through something like that this season is the stuff of nightmares.
