I didn't realise he'd called for it. Ok so that's one mistake in the match?

Can you not at least accept that he was out numbered too often in the game? He was isolated against speed merchants in Redmond and later Murphy - who may have beat him once all game. He couldn't always stop the cross, but his defending meant the crosses were desperate hit and hopes as opposed to players being picked out.

Glen wasn't brilliant today, but the game wasn't exactly set up to allow him to play his best.
      Forwards.......

Twice in the first half his shoddy kicking invited further pressure.

        That's three.

It was suggested by someone earlier in this thread that teams will look at the Norwich game and adopt similar tactics to get at us, to achieve what though? We have won eleven games on the bounce and have had to deal with every conceivable approach from technically superb teams to doggedly determined physical battlers. We are excelling and beating all comers with our own performances and beating teams at their own game. This is incredible. I am still nervous and ****ting it because I really want us to win the league!!! It's fantastic though isn't it?!

Massive Win! 3 points is all that matters at this point of season. Kind reminder for all who are whining that we are back in the Champions League from 7th place last season.

I know I'd rather take a succession of 3-2s playing at times exhilarating football than a run of dodgy 1-0s.

Although I'd still be delighted with the latter.
              Oh I don't know.

Yes, it is an incredible run and what makes it more incredible is that there were so many situations in which things could have gone horribly wrong yet we managed to pull through. Part of it the sheer desire of the players, part of it the manager making the right adjustments mid game, part of it the utter brilliance some of our players are showing (it was Sterling today).

I agree that Lucas didn't help him at all today. But his defending thus season and last has been sub standard.

For a player of his experience and his wages.. He is under performing all to regularly. I wouldn't be surprised if we look elsewhere next season.

At the least least he needs more competition IMO.

Far more entertaining - people can't slag off Chelsea for their dreadful brand of football but then critique us for leaking goals.

The red machine is going to railroad Europe next season

There's no one in Europe who i am worried about. Now lets go raid Dourtmond for Hummels.

11 wins on the bounce is unbelievable though. What a run!

How can you not be confident of us getting at least a point when we've won 11 on the bounce? Surely that points to you being paranoid and nervous based on nothing other than fear. Fear in this case being:

                          False
                          Evidence
                          Appearing
                          Real.

                          F.E.A.R

Our team is set up to attack. We score goals. We win games. The pressure we put on our defence is crazy, but then the pressure we put on the opposition even more so. We made Vincent Kompany look like a Sunday league trialist.
                          Forwards.......

Like i said earlier. I'd be gutted if that thunderc**t Bourinho was our manager. Horrible brand of football and by far the worst behaviour from a club i have ever seen.

Our team would make any defender you care to mention look dodgy, just the way it goes. I suggest Rodgers will seriously look at this in the summer. Rodgers key points since taking over was about scoring more goals and noes gophers done that. He did admit he'd look at the back once that issue was sorted.

Complete opposite approach to what is considered normal:

A good team starts from the back.
Scoring goals win you games, clean sheets win you titles.
Titles are won on scrappy one nils.
                                Forwards.......
