What is the deal with Allen - has he played 90 mins for us this season? He always seems to either get subbed on or subbed off.Originally posted by RedReet View PostI thought he was quite tidy second half, especially as the whole team were quite nervy and there were mistakes all over the pitch. Overall quite rusty, but I think Rodgers will be relatively pleased with his performance. Allen was best player on pitch in first half, but he disappeared 2nd, whereas I though Lucas was slightly better.
Should have scored though, no excuse for that.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Wasn't carra and Neville saying last week how dodgy sahko looked on the ball?Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostI don't make the Sakho-Traore comparison but to me Sakho doesn't look comfortable in possession, he might have good passing stats but the way he is on the ball makes me nervous like he is about to make a mistake.

96 for the team too! We're going to break the 100 barrier!Originally posted by fowlen View PostOh, and congratulations to a certain Luiz Suarez.
30 goals in the season is quite extraordinary....and 50 between him and Sturridge - who would have thought?Football without Origi is nothing

They all made me nervous today,we went backwards from midfield and just inside their half a bit much for my liking and the Norwich players were hunting in packs closing us down back there. It was nervy from all of them due to that but its how we play now. It's not good for the heart but it is what it is,Sakho will improve.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostI don't make the Sakho-Traore comparison but to me Sakho doesn't look comfortable in possession, he might have good passing stats but the way he is on the ball makes me nervous like he is about to make a mistake.

No.Originally posted by ~LFCHistory~ View PostDoes anyone think it's a coincidence that the two defenders struggling the most this season are Mignolet and Sakho both of whom are in their first season here and having to learn a new brand of football ??
A bit of perspective is needed on those 2 players here and I'd expect nothing than more than for Mr Perspective himself JohnDoe to lay into them.Substance > Style

Think the criticism of Johnson and Lucas is OTT too. It was a collective problem today IMO. We came through though in a situation where Man City and Chelsea have both not in recent weeks. Like you suggest a bit of perspective is needed."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

I think Johnson has been pretty poor for much of the season. Far too laid back and casual. Lacking drive going forward. Seems uninterested far too often. I'd be looking for a right back in the summer.Originally posted by dww View PostThink the criticism of Johnson and Lucas is OTT too. It was a collective problem today IMO.
