I'm really nervous before this game. They have some quick players that can punish us with counter attacks. Mourinho is a defensive manager and they will have their fair share of chances created from counter attacks. On the other hand Mourinho might focus more on Cha,pions Leaugue and therefore not risk injuries too some of his key players as he did last year as well against Barcelona.

Does anybody know if Hazard will be fit for this game?

Hazard's travelled to Spain for the Atleti game but didn't train earlier.

Have a feeling he'll be involved on Sunday.

If he didn't train esrlier I cannot see him be involved in their game tommorow and if he doesn't play tomorrow I don't think he will be starting on Sunday and that's good news.

I really hope Sturridge will be fit for this one. As someone mentioned previously in this thread imagined if Torres scored the winner. I would be devasted if he of all players should be the one who would score the goal that decided the title race.

Come on you Redmen. Smash those ****ing *******s. If the game will be as the ones against Fulham, Swansea, Sunderland, City and Norwich I will need a pacemaker.

FFS why did you have to put that idea in my head, I hadn't even thought about it before, now I won't be able to stop thinking about it
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

No one heading to Liverpool for this? Win this game then watch City/Palace and we could be practically champions

sturridge will score a couple and dance his little dance in front of jose maureen, just to rub their faces in it for selling him. maureen will then explode and end up being dragged down the tunnel by the rest of the chav bench

i will be amazed if the plastic flag wavers dont have one or two players sent off.

Some valid points about our defence sitting too deep... Exactly the sort of ****e Maureen will exploit with Vidic and Hazard

Chelsea are really good defensively, but will they cope with Suarez, Sturridge, Sterling and Coutinho? I don't think they've faced such an attacking line-up this season (we weren't quite there last time we played them). I am confident that we will up our game and really go for it against Chelsea and I really don't think that they will be able to contain our attacking players, we've got too much for them. I'm not being complacent, but this game is at Anfield and the support will be deafening and the players will be totally focussed and fresh. The core of their team will be feeling the effect of their travels to Spain and thinking ahead to their return fixture against Athletico Madrid. We are going to do this.

Definitely. It reads like it was written for a chimp. Saying that, footballers seem to like it, so maybe it was.

Well we are eight players short of a title challenging team.
