That is a good summary PTP. Agreed its still an unusally strong team going forwards. Azpi, Cole, Salah, Schurle and Eto'o worry me the most.

With Mourinho not giving a toss about this game he might let them play pressure-free which could work against us. I'd prefer them parking the bus, not giving confidence/leeway to some decent goalscorers there.

Have to admit I'm now bricking it, was calm before West Ham and City but this is too close.
    One tit for another.

also some of those players may feel a little bit aggrevied at being classed as '2nd string' and may want to prove a point - fight for a place in the second leg/potential final

however it could go opposite - those players may be a bit fed up with mourinho and be thinking what a cunt - whatever i do or try i can't please him, now he's effectively told me i'm not part of his european plans - **** it, seasons over, world cup/holiday coming up - lets go into shut down mode

either way - whatever side plays, whatever tactics are used, whatever mentality they have - its going to be tough and i am ****tting one

I am the only one who have given Moses role with us a thought ahead of this match? Being a bit paranoid probably, but what if he shares inside info with Chelsea teammates or with ****coat.

If he had a chance of making it with us, I woudnt be worried, but he hasnt. I would have doubts about where his loyalties lie.

Probably just me, but I would ban him from Melwood until after the game.

Haha, I was thinking that earlier when reading his interview and seeing him talk about training as normal this week. TBF, it sounds like he really likes the club though and I'd guess he would genuinely want us to win.

Anyway, what is there to give away, we're going to go all guns blazing at Chelsea and watch them crumble like every other defence.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

doesn't take a genius to work out what our tactics will be

it's not like the days of rafa who tinkered and changed things here and there....for us it's simple

attack and score as many goals as we can

only things to be considered for me are....

1 - play agger instead of sakho (either way doesn't change/effect mourinho's thinking)

2 - if sturridge is fit, he starts and i'd suspect lucas is on bench. if sturridge isn't starting then it's same midfield/attack as against norwich. - this is possibly the only bit of insider info mourinho would be interested in

If Sturridge isnt fit we should consider playing Tiexera wide left, brining Coutinho back and playing Allen. A midfield of Gerrard, Lucas and Allen doesnt allow Gerrard to excel

I dont think its that simple. The devil is in the detail, and every small advantage can make the difference between 0, 1 and 3 points. ****coat will want to know wether we go diamond or 4-3-3. If we are working on small surprises with our set-pieces (with which we are prolific this season), then that could be spoiled as well.

It wouldn't surprised me one bit if Rodgers had pulled him one side and told him frankly that we won't be taking his services further than this season, and that despite this news, he'd full trust in Moses to do the right thing because that's the kind of lad Rodgers knows he is.

                        Or some similar man-management masterclass.

                          3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Am I right in thinking Victor would pick up a medal if we won the title? Surely he wouldn't jepodise that for a team who clearly wont have him in their future plans.
Oh triffic......so while you're up the road jollying it up, it's touch your toes time for Rodney

No chance Teixeira even has a chance of playing this weekend. Sturridge looks ready to go so him in for Lucas and full steam ahead.
