Defensively we just aren't there.Happened a few times this season and we got away with it,luck ran out this week. Gutted. We need a whole new defense.

Gutted, we totally threw it away. Huge boost for City we need a Villa or West Ham win

        Clattenburg was an absolute disgrace.

Not really sure what happened, lethargy, some poor finishing/play up front when we could've had a couple more. Maybe we should've sat back after three goals up? Dunno. Pretty dire to lose that lead.

Anyway, now we're playing for second.

Defensively were not good enough and haven't been all season. Its come home to roost today.

I'm still happy. Ffs look where we were last season and loom where we are now.

I'm disappointed but in still happy and people saying that this is our best chance to win it because Chelsea city etc... Will be stronger next year its a load of bollocks.

Even if Chelsea and city get stronger no one will win this league with 90 points plus. It will be mid 80s like it has been this season because its a very competitive league. If we can get 80 plus points this season we can get them next season.

We will still be there or thereabouts.

Anyone that criticises the team after this season can ****ing do one.

We've been sensational and it's only because Man City and Chelsea badly faltered that were able to capitalise on our amazing 11 game winning streak. If they hadn't then we'd have merely sealed 3rd place.

All that work for 36 games up in flames with a 10 minute spell from hell.

Last week was disappointing but this is one of the most shocking outcomes I've ever seen.

We've been defensively terrible. Its undeniable. We have conceded 49 goals.

                              So are the fans....

****in bottled it to be honest though. Ref was terrible but Johnson and Lucas need to be replaced.... to be honest gerrard as dm isnt ideal either. He is immense starting counter attacks but not good enough defensively...

People will naturally look to the chelsea game as deciding factor but i think the henderson straight red was massive....

You know whats gonna be the biggest kick in the cock though - city will draw one of their remaining games....

Sadly it's taken the gloss over an amazing season and it shouldn't. It hurts though right now.

                                Kneejerkers should log off.
Midfield was more to blame IMO. They didn't get anywhere near back in the last 10-15 minutes and left the defence to open up to stop an advancing Palace player.

Utterly defleated by this right now.

As said in a week we will look back at this season with pride, but right now
