Although we shouldn't have got ourselves into that position in the first place, at 3-3 in stoppage time 10 yards out with pretty much an open goal you have to score.Originally posted by Leyton388 View PostMoses is ****ing wank anyway. It might as well had been a 30 yard chance he's that ****. Gimp.
Although he was only on loan he has been a terrible signing and a waste of wages, he has offered **** all all season. He's not been anywhere near good enough. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

THere's nothing fundamentally wrong with our approach, with better players, even just a deeper squad, we'd have won the league. I actually think we'd have won the league this year if we had bought Konoplyanka.Originally posted by tanner View PostIf Rogers didn't have 100% belief in his system we wouldn't be in this position now in my opinion. We really have no right to be at the top of the table with this crop of players, and if we've played more defensively against Chelsea or tried to shut up shop tonight, then chances are we would've played more conservatively in the run up and not won 11 on the bounce. Disappointing as it is, I really do think we'd be way off top now if we were anymore conservative.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

We should have a game plan for when we're coming under pressure and need to hold on to a 1 goal lead like tonight. We may not have liked it ourselves but maybe do a Mourinho and go 6-3-1 to deal with the pressure. At 3-2 Johnson and Flanagan were still up past the half way line.Rafa on Everton - "When you play against the smaller teams at Anfield you know the game will be narrow"

Just heading home from Selhurst. There's nothing in that game that we haven't seen many times this season. Brilliant going forward, but put the pressure on our back five and they literally freeze. Watching it live rather than on TV made it even more apparent - the sense of panic that grips the team, and especially the defence, is palpable.
Suarez and Sturridge looked tired and off the pace, Henderson makes a huge difference. Allen and Lucas give us **** all width. Sterling should have stayed on. In the last 20 minutes they could have had 5.
Steve Peters needs to work with the back 5 and we need a new defensive coach.
