Cracking match with the U18s against Accrington Stanley right now.

Larrouzi looking very sharp already down the left wing. Fast and nimble, very direct with a decent cross on him. He has large shoes to fill as Adam Lewis moved from his slot to the U23s and apparently only Steve Nicol had bigger feet than him in the history of the club.

And it's the opening goal for Liverpool! Clarkson pumps an accurate cross into the box when it's met by big Reece Williams head who sticks it right in the bottom corner. No chance for the keeper at all.

Great header by Glatzl who heads it on backwards up and over the keeper into the top corner of the net. A deserved scoreline just before half time as it's been all us apart from one scare in the first 2 minutes. Duncan, Glatzl, Larrouzi all shining so far.

Bit closer this half, Accrington have obviously been given the obligatory telling off at half time. The pace has dropped off a bit though.

Great work on the breakaway, Glatzel feeding Duncan who hits it straight at the keeper. He's not hot-shot hamish tonight, no way.

We're working to get into the right positions but our final ball or shot is letting us down. Frustrating. Jack Behan on for Elijah Dixon-Bonnet.

A corking goal for Glatzel, set up initially by Duncan from the left wing. He gets to it just before the keeper but it's saved - he gets to the deflected ball and turns it in from a fine angle whilst the keeper sprawls on the deck.

ACC break and the forward is away only for Remi Savage to nip his off his toes at the last second. He then clears the cross that comes in just after. Great defending. Down the other end Bobby Duncan selfishly runs himself into trouble when he should have passed and loses the ball. Not his best game by any margin.

A HAT-TRICK for Glatzel!

A long punted ball is flicked on in the centre of the park, the defenders's ball all the way, but Glatzel keeps running and forces him to underplay it back to his keeper. He gets to the ball first, rounds the hapless stopper and slots it home. 3 goals for Glatzel, his third hat-trick of the season and his 20th goal.

I've been a little harsh on Duncan here today but his work-rate is top notch. He never stops wanting the ball or harassing the opposition defenders. He nearly scores after a lovely move there as well after a glorious back-heel by Glatzel.

Duncan, to spite me, hits the post from outside the box - the referee blows and it's all over.

A good all round performance today, everyone played well but the plaudits will go to Glatzel, a goal creator and finisher par excellence. It ends Liverpool 4-0 ACC
