And that's it all over. Good first half from us, looking lively and creating good chances, particularly down the wings. Second half we come out like they'd each snorted an entire advent calendar, lackadaisical, out of position, flat as pancakes. After the first gimme from Morton, for it was his **** backpass, our heads went down and we just got sloppier. The second goal was a good example of how lack of marking with hurt you at any level. We had the chance to go top but instead Rovers leapfrog us into second place.

I chose not to watch the U23s home match against United today as due to a new year's resolution I decided to try my hand at lychee martinis. Good thing too as we are getting absolutely snotted having conceded 6 goals so far. Hang your heads in shame until you are old enough to drink U23s, then drink it away like the good old days.

0-1 to us at half time. Well organised is how I'd described us, we're not committing too much going forward. Balagizi is not looking too energised up front but he's not got a huge amount of support. A little bit dull really.

Musialowski being interviewed. Seems a decent lad, feet firmly on the ground. He's been over-noodling a bit today but he definitely has something going forward, drop of the shoulder, goes both ways, low centre of gravity.
