One decent cross and Koumas heads it home - Liverpool 1-0 Fulham. Better this half.
Then Morrison scores a cracker from the edge of the box and it's 2-0! Games has turned on its head.Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad

All done, final score 3-0 to us. In truth it was pretty poor fare but three cracking goals get us through to the next round. Fulham will surely be rueing those missed chances in the first half.Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad

I missed this while away on holidays but there’s a lot to like about Danns & Clarke in this.

Never heard of this lad but at least he’s got a bit of fight in him against the old foe
Liverpool youngster Luca Furnell-Gill will miss a significant portion of the remainder of the season after admitting to a disciplinary charge stemming from a feisty encounter during a match against Manchester United earlier this year.
Furnell-Gill, a 17-year-old defender, has been handed a five-game ban by the Football Association following an incident during the Under-18 Premier League North match at United's Carrington training base on 30 January.
The altercation occurred during the second half of the match, which Liverpool eventually lost 4-3. Furnell-Gill was captured on camera engaging in a heated exchange with Manchester United forward Ethan Wheatley. The footage shows Furnell-Gill aiming a punch towards Wheatley as tensions escalated during the game.
Additionally, he was observed clashing with Wheatley again and directing an elbow towards him during the altercation.
Despite being spoken to by the referee, both players avoided immediate punishment during the match
According to the Echo, Liverpool addressed the matter internally following the incident. Academy director Alex Inglethorpe reportedly contacted Manchester United officials the morning after the game to extend apologies for the incident.
Furnell-Gill, who joined Liverpool from Preston North End at U15 level, also reportedly expressed remorse for his actions post-game.
Since the clash with Manchester United, Furnell-Gill has not featured in any matches for Liverpool. This absence includes important fixtures such as the FA Youth Cup win over Fulham and the subsequent exit from the competition against Leeds United.
Furnell-Gill, who made his U18s debut as an U16 player last season, is currently a first-year scholar with Liverpool's U18 squad. His suspension serves as a setback for both the player's development and Liverpool's youth team as they navigate through their season.
Liverpool will hope Furnell-Gill learns from this experience and emerges as a more mature player upon his return to action after serving his suspension.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Just saw the highlights of the U21’s beating City 2-0. Not a bad performance all in all with the number of players missing with the 1st team. Rhys Williams looked pretty good & got the 2nd goal, Jay Spearing played No6 & turned back the clock with a decent performance & Trent Kone Dougherty certainly doesn’t look overwhelmed playing up the age groups.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Yeah TKD came in at the same time as Ben Doak from memory & he’s been a regular goal scorer in 18’s & 21’s. Like you say he’s rapid alright. With a bit of work that Spearing kid could have a future in the gameOriginally posted by Pablo View PostThat Trent Kone Dougherty has potential. He is very, very quick. Not sure about that Spearing kid though. Hard paper round.

Last season I think it was. An old head to steer the lads around the park was how I seem to remember it being reported. Normally just comes off the bench late on but with all the movement up for our 21’s he was needed to play this one.Originally posted by Fivex View PostWait wtf
Since when did we resign Spearing as an under 23 player-coach?
