Mandron has the build and the athleticism to put him head and shoulders above those around him. He also seems to have the temperament of Emile Heskey which is the equivalent of digging a two foot hole and standing in it to bring yourself down to everyone else's level.

Trickett-Smith gets himself into a good crossing position for the second time and manages to hit the defender both times. Poor.

O'Hanlon gets a yellow for dissent. Christ knows what he said because you can pretty much do a drive-by at this level and only get a ticking off.

Players looking a bit tired. This is usually the madhouse last 10 minutes when all the **** ups start. They don't know how to pace themselves this lot, they just run themselves out of steam like alopecia-ridden puppies.

Canos receives a nice ball into the box and lazily tries to waft it into the top corner. Rubbish, it was rubbish.

Sinclair has been up there by himself all night long with very little support. It's a thankless task but he's quietly got on with it. Should have had a penalty as well. His face was a picture when it wasn't given, just staring in disbelief with his mouth hanging slightly open. Picture Kim Jong Un opening his lunchbox on a warm summer afternoon by the sea and inside staring back at him is a jammy dodger with a perfect bite-mark taken out of it. That's the face right there.

Cracking goal last night, but not the greatest game.

We've a cracking group of youngsters here at the minute, but we definitely played better under Segura, Borrell etc.

In saying that, we are still in the Champion's League.

jordan rossiter is out for 2 months after having ankle surgery.

"Knowing his character as we all do at the Academy it's something he will overcome in his typical and determined, single-minded way," he told Liverpoolfc.com of Rossiter.
"It's such a shame for Jordan because he was doing so well and it was quite an innocuous thing the way the injury happened. He went up for a header and landed very badly on his ankle and he has had to have surgery on that now.
"His character is outstanding and he has got one of the best mentalities I have ever worked with. I know it's difficult for him at the moment but he will come back stronger than ever.
"No doubt Jordan will try to make a quicker return than we expect and he'll probably be planning a comeback in the next two weeks knowing him, but he's determined and he's one of those lovely players you have to make sure you keep the reins on.
"He is in good hands with our physios Andy Renshaw and Richie Partridge, who are outstanding at what they do, and he's in great care."

I suppose the only thing with Rossiter is that he'd be getting little first team exposure at this stage of the season, so it's maybe not the worst timing. He'll hopefully make a full recovery, be available for pre-season training and maybe make a push for some appearances next year or a loan move.
