United could have scored first but our in your face approach seemed to phase them and apart from Rashford (who looks excellent) they couldn't really deal with it. Two great goals for Arnold. Phillips was generally imperious in the middle of the park, Woodburn looked good on the left. Defence well organised (not often I type that on this forum), Whelan looked strong and wanted to own everything. All round very satisfying, well done the lads.

Hi-def is doing Roy Evans no favours. Just waiting to see if they do any post-match interviews which are usually hilarious. They look like they are stood in front of the beak trying to remember word for word what their solicitor told them to say. Any question they haven't anticipated is normally reacted to with a mixture of suspicion and terror.
