U18s had a good win yesterday it seems 4-1

Liverpool U18s: George, Lewis, Johnston, Whelan, Masterson, Coyle (Parker 70) Alexander-Arnold X2, Phillips, Woodburn, Paulo Alves, Brimmer (Owens 60 ).

Hardly know most of these guys so little of them is shown on TV these days.

Just had a quick look at that. Phillips gave the keeper the eyes to score a languid wrong-footing free kick, spoilt only by the 9 year-old in the crowd trying out the Brazilian commentator's gooooaaaallll routine but sounding like Leo Sayer having a lobster giving his scrotum a love nip. Trent-Alexander and Arnold Brimmer seemed to combine well - good headed goal there. Woodburn looked lively as well. Decent match.

Ben Woodburn bottled it in a race to the ball with the keeper there, should have showed more determination.

Mistake by United with a **** pass from keeper to defender who was instantly under pressure and lost it on the edge of the box. Arnold ran onto the header and hit it sweetly on the volley with his right foot - body leaning slightly forward over the ball to keep it down and sweet. Rifled past the keeper. Good work.
