What a goal Jerome Sinclair, 2-0. Wilson scored the first with a pen.

Can't be any worse than what we have now. He's match fit, direct and has great finishing ability.

Hasn't he already featured for the first team?

Yes he's played once, almost immediately after we had signed him, so he's now the youngest LFC player ever. It was against his former club WBA in the cup.

We need him in the first team squad so he he can learn what to do once he gets injured.

Would come in handy as he'd never be called offside.

Fabrice Muamba taking coaching sessions at Liverpool FC Academy
7 March 2015 By Kristian Walsh [Liverpool Echo]
Under-21s boss Michael Beale also reveals Salif Diao is part of the set-up

Fabrice Muamba has been taking part in coaching sessions at the Liverpool FC Academy, Liverpool Under-21s boss Michael Beale has revealed, as the former Bolton man begins his education to become a coach.

Muamba, 26, retired from football after collapsing on the pitch during Bolton’s FA Cup game away to Tottenham in March 2012.

It was later revealed Muamba, who also played for Arsenal and Birmingham, had suffered a cardiac arrest and his heart had stopped for 78 minutes.

Post-career, Muamba has turned to television punditry, but has now begun studying for his coaching badges.

And Beale revealed the Reds invited him to coach the youngsters after the former midfielder shared his experiences on and off the field.

“Fabrice came in to do a talk for the Premier League about his situation and how he progressed from a young player right through to recovering from his near-fatal accident,” said Beale.

“I was so taken aback by Fabrice’s enthusiasm and I spoke with him. Fabrice is friends with our physio, Andy Renshaw, from his Bolton days and he is starting his coaching badges.

“We invited Fabrice in and his personality has lit up the Academy in the days that he comes in, and he was with us this week watching the Chelsea game.

And U-21s boss Beale also had praise for former Reds midfielder Salif Diao, who has also been coaching at the Academy while obtaining his badges.

He believes the experience of both Muamba and Diao will only help the youth sides progress.

“Salif’s son plays for our Academy and Salif is also doing his coaching badges,” added Beale in his Liverpoolfc.com column.

“He played for our first team, he played in the World Cup and has his own academy back in Senegal, and he has also come in to give a talk to the lads.

“Fabrice and Salif are both active in our sessions as well and want to share their advice. All the experience these people have is invaluable and they help keep our players’ feet firmly on the floor.

“I’m extremely grateful because it is a great help to pick their brains and get their opinions as well.”

The pair join Steve Heighway as recent additions, with Heighway invited to do some coaching sessions with the Under-9s by current Academy chief Alex Inglethorpe.

Robbie Fowler, Steve McManaman and Rob Jones have also been helping the youth teams.

“It’s very special and very unique what we have got here and very few clubs in the world have that,” said Beale.

“It’s a real family feel and it really helps us keep the lads grounded because we don’t want any U-21 superstars or players just happy to play regular U-21s football without stepping up.

“They really help us get that message across.”
"The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."
