I was just thinking about this and I do think he'll make it. He's got strength and pace, is good in the air, is calm in possession and a good reader of the game. He can't really shoot for toffee but that's what you want from your centre-backs, surely? They shouldn't show Michael Beale on the bench too often though. He makes weird expressions with his mouth, even when he's not saying anything. It kind of moves about by itself.
