I see Jordan Williams is now playing regularly for the u23s good for him. Btw does anyone know where Chirivella is, or how is he getting along? I don't think I've seen him in any recent u23 line-ups...

He's still two years younger than Kevin Stewart, who apparently has a future here I think a lot of his game was based on intelligence, positioning, calmness and clever movement rather than athleticism, so hopefully he's still got a shot if he regains his fitness and stays free of injuries.

No, the u23s have been playing 3 at the back recently.

Interesting - surely that can only be to accommodate Gomez, Sakho and Ilori, the development of two of which seems a questionable investment from the club at this point?

I hope that's not the case, although it might be easier to find better deals for players you want to get rid of if you keep them in good shape. Might help with Ilori at least, Sakho shouldn't be that much of a problem.

Does anyone else feel slightly disappointed that Brannagan and Wilson can't get anywhere near the first team still? It's so often that our top talent just kinda gets lost in the reserves, especially Brannagan after he's been given the #25 shirt and a few first team starts last season, I think everyone expected him to step up this year. Now there's Stewart, Grujic and even Ejaria ahead of him, even though he's been playing well and scoring regularly for the u23s.
