Dhanda is beginning to stand out in a lot of games now. Hopefully starts training with the first team soon.

I think he changed to AFII from LFClove after he was rapidly outed. As well as much pisstaking about his inadvertently spicy moniker.Originally posted by Saveloy View PostWas that his last incarnation? I kind of remember the username but it doesn't resonate with echoes of crazy Swedish craziness.
I just did a quick search. That was over NINE years ago

He's looking great so far this year. Youth players don't often seem to improve smoothly but in fits and starts and he's certainly looking better than last year. He'll need to jump another couple of steps but he's definitely in the right direction.Originally posted by Red_Polo View PostDoes sound promising. How would you rate him against some of our recent crop of youth players?

I find Brewster hot and cold. He gets himself into good positions but doesn't seem to have the killer instinct when it comes to putting the ball in the back of the net. They're clearly trying to work on that bit. He's very well regarded at the academy though.Originally posted by labourRed View PostHow's Brewster doing, given he had a cracking game the other day. Won't be near the first team but is he a prospect?
It's so difficult to tell. They might stop growing or don't become any faster, they're trying to improve and get their heads down at a time in their life when all their hormones are telling them to get out there, fight and impress their friends and shag anything they see. Some of them are great at this level but crumble in front of big crowds when they are faced with giant premiership players who have tons of experience. And some thrive on it. It's very hard to know really.

nah that's cool. I get it. Hard to tell with some of these youngsters unless their a worldie. FWIW I don't see much in him but he has been injury prone thus far so we'll just have to wait and see how he develops his game.

He scored a nice one against Arsenal last week though, knocked it past the defender, dropped his shoulder and walloped it into the corner.Originally posted by labourRed View Post

As the commentator says, Danny Ings is only 25 himself, playing for the U23s.
Harry Wilson strikes one from outside the box that the keeper has to tip over for a corner. Lovely shot.Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad
