Have we been playing Ings and co in the Under 18's?Originally posted by BillobShaisley View PostMy genuine question is, have we actually improved in youth development or has it become the Stevie show and is there now more focus on youth results and performance (Stevie's development) than actual development of youth players? e.g. using Ings, Klavan, Robertson etc
I know Ljinders and Co' have a great record and approach to producing a conveyor belt of players ready for the first team but that can and often conflicts with short term results in the youth leagues. Is there any reassurance that player progression is still the main purpose of these games?

U23's but then others move down. Perhaps in previous years, those who really excel at U18 are playing in the 21/23's etc ?
I haven't seen enough of them since LFCTV went pay for. Genuine question?"that is my opinion and that is more important than what anyone else has to say about it" - Mr A.Fergusson, Oct 2011
