If you look out of your window, you might just see that free kick still going over the end of your garden...

Another **** free-kick from Morton. Truly a poor performance from us today and the scoreline flatters us. If I was playing for Liverpool I'd be busting a gut every second of every match, not fudgeling around like I do.Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad

Musi needs to shake off that horrible missing habit.
Koumetio is a class act.Are we winning?

Class act... or Djimi Traore?
That is a big ****ing gap.
I must admit, I have only seen him a couple of times and was not impressed. But defenders can take a while to blossom (look at Phillips).
Saying that, I am not a fan of young centrebacks. We have only had 1 or 2 come through and make it at a reasonably high level in decades. I think that may have a lot do do with expectations on younger players, when centrebacks tend to mature a lot later when they gain more of an instinct for positioning, whereas forwards and midfielders can be a bit more maverick when they come into the first team and catch the eye with skill rather than discipline.
Not really sure what the answer is, as reserve players tend to get binned off by the time they hit 20. Phillips is the exception to the rule. Young defenders really need proper games to develop though, and they are not likely to get that here, so its catch 22.
Thats why I think Williams needs a loan now to help his devlopment (and probably for the next 2 or 3 seasons.I think Phillips came a long way last season through playing against some top teams. Ideally we migh have loaned him out too,but the rest of our defence aint reliable fitness wiseIn the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Koumetio is a kid. You prove whether you're a class act or not against Premiership teams on a daily basis. We don't know what he is yet. I hope he makes it.
Remember, we should be calling him "Champions League Cup Winner Djimi Traore"

Remember when he scored the Zidane spin own goal, or when he scythed down Jermaine Pennant. Or everytime he got the ball and the rest of the team had to come short as he could not accurately pass further than ten yards, or his headers that always went off at an angle... an inspiration to us all. I always used to think... "How???".Originally posted by Venton View Post
