I think Marko would do well in the No.10 role, along with 95% of the rest of our squad unfortunately.

I think for years we have tried to sign players who would normally play a number 10 role and stick them out wide, going back to people like Vladimir Smicer and Patrik Berger, we have done this and played them out of position. That said I don't know if this is the case with Markovic, because I still have no idea where he playsOriginally posted by RedReet View PostI think Marko would do well in the No.10 role, along with 95% of the rest of our squad unfortunately.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Just read that Markovic was not given clearance by Liverpool to play in the U21 tournament starting on Wednesday. Strange considering Can has been allowed to go.
Is Markovic carrying a knock?
Are we looking to keep him injury free with a view to selling him this summer? If so, the U21 would have been an ideal shop window. So it can't be that.
Maybe we want him rested and ready for the travails of next season. One tit for another.

His last two games? They lost 2-0 to Denmark in their last game? In the previous match he came on as a sub?Originally posted by Gazzla View PostHe's got the man of the match award in his last 2 internationals playing in his natural position. Why we've ****ed around sticking him at wing back then seemingly binning him altogether is madness.
