So if the truth is somewhere in between, it means a 10-year contract.

Theres nothing to say he wont be rotated with a different defender that we buy because of the extra games we'll be playing. Maybe Klopp will use him in games against strikers he knows he should be ok against compared to some of the others that hes kind of **** with. Limit his screw ups, keep everyone fresh, it sounds intelligent but its coming from me.

Just off the top of my head I would see the likes of Terry, Cahill, Luiz, Kompany, Zabaleta, Kolarov, and maybe Otamendi earning more and that is just picking from Chelsea and Man City.

I'm speechless at this deal. The 5th highest paid defender in the league? You are having a laugh. I'm all for protecting our investment with a deal but the size of this opens up a can of worms. Its obvious that Klopp and the club must rate him which is worrying.
