Clone is terrible, hesitant - seems to always stop when he receives the ball and most of his passes are either backwards or returned back to the player that gave him the ball...

Matip isn't much better either. Ffs why can't we pick up someone like Cahill, vertonghen or that other ****er Spurs signed from Southampton. I know we tried for VVD but it's the entire defence that needs wiping out and replacing. ****ing every single game now for what's felt like an eternity of horror shows at the back. Completely undoes all of our good work going forward. I feel really stressed out with it now, it's starting to affect my health no kidding now. Can't take much more of it.

He's poor at most things but other he's borderline criminal and embarrassing.

There was a header in the 2nd half, middle of the pitch, unchallenged, easy height and he heads it down towards a Sevilla player. Sunday League stuff and he's Klopp's biggest mistake as Liverpool manager, to still have him starting after nearly 2 seasons is ridiculous.

That drunken pass out to Moreno on 49 minutes was embarrassing for the fella. Had a stinker of a first half, was ****in asleep for the first goal. If he had anything about him then he would have slapped himself across the face for the 15 mins at half time and come out and make it right in the second half. ****in clown.

What is funny about him is that he tries to portray himself as this big leader among men. Whereas the reality is he is a car crash.

I really didn't expect him to be in our starting XI this season. He has improved in the sense that he can go and have games where he just does the basics, but then has absolute stinkers like last night.

It's not going to help him improve his own performance knowing he just has Klavan and Gomez behind him.

i'm not that convinced about Matip any more but that could just be because he's next to lovren and the midfield offer zero protection

if this was football manager i'd be after two class cb's with matip as 3rd choice/pushing for a start and Gomez playing as 4th choice - both lovren and klavan would be out the door.

Matip is not the problem. I actually feel sorry for him being surrounded by these nincompoops.
