Eh because he was asked quite a long question about Lovren's form, ability and given the fact he is better than shown is it an issue with anxiety?

No doubt if the question was about Borini, Sakho, Balotelli, Enrique etc he can't resist whereas Lovren, Allen and his other favourites will never get that treatment.

I think in that case you are saying Rodgers is being honest, whilst you would prefer he wasn't. I agree, he should say nothing unless it's positive. But in fairness to Rodgers, can you point anything out where he has said something bad about a player employed by the club?

I'd say the worst he's said has been that a player hasn't produced yet because of A or B & that the player is working hard to turn it around, just like he did with Lovren today. Can't see wgphy that would be deemed negative.
