Apparently he's deactivated his Instagram tonight after tirades of abuse from our dickhead fans.

That would have been hilarious if it hadnt been from our manager or we had actually maintained some defensive cohesion.

That's really sad, the guy is doing his best he's just out of his depth here. If those so called fans are determined to vent then they should get angry at the manager who keeps selecting this player who anyone with a clue about football can see shouldn't be selected.

I don't get how people do stuff like that.

Fine discuss him in a pub or in a forum but tweeting or Instagramming them directly to slag em off is poor form

That said, if I were a footballer I wouldn't go on social media for that reason.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

How will that help in any way, except damaging his mentality more. I despair at the behaviour of cowards on social media.

I cannot stand him but that Instagram stuff is pathetic and I feel sorry for him.

Just watching their second goal again and what the **** was he thinking? By the touchline he has two sensible options, he can play the ball back to the keeper or he can put it out of play, he chooses neither, he faffs about and is lucky to get the ball back. Having done that it is the next bit that annoys me most. He is now on the byline, he knows that he is lucky to have the ball back and he knows the West Ham player who challenged him on the touchline is nearby. Why then does he take his time what is he expecting to happen, the West Ham player to disappear up his own arse and leave him with all the time in the world to do as he wants? He has time to take a quick touch but then it's an 'anywhere will do situation'. It's not like he's new to the league and not expecting it, he has been playing here for a couple of years now. I don't understand how the situation can surprise him.

Every time the ball gets played down the channels and he goes 1v1 against anyone he looks pretty bad. We cant play a left back who wont join in the attacks just to babysit him.

He looked decent in the first 3 games because Gomes didn't go more than 10 yards away from him. He struggles badly in 1v1's on the deck.

For me if you are playing 2 CBs if one gets dragged out wide if you get the opportunity you put the ball out of play concede the throw in and give time for your fullbacks to get back and your CB to get in position.

He is a complete cluster **** of a signing from day one, normally I usually would say he needs time, but honestly I wanted him gone after just one season. The worse CB I can remember in recent times ...you could make a case for given him some credence due to the amount he got exposed last season, but man he has Milner Lucas and Can in front of him and Gomez beside him, that 2nd goal was just ****ing criminal at this level ... hes being paid the big bucks to be a senior ****ing team player ... you expect Gomez to do something like that .. but it says it all that I am bet you the majority of fans would take Gomez at CB than Lovern at this rate... The Season is practically new and already he has put in a ****ing horror show ... enough, if Rodgers does not play Sakho next game ... he will have a full on fan revolt on his hands

The 2nd goal summed up his time at LFC, absolutely lost. I don't think i've ever seen a CB that is so headless & such a panicker.
