Just basically saying that he has all the qualities we want in a centre-back, and Klopp has said this in a few interviews. He just needs to be more consistent (Klopp said pre-Champions League Final).

To be fair to Dejan, he must be high as a ****ing kite tonight, so you can forgive some 'giving it loads', but it was a fairly loaded question from your one to begin with - and he has to put up hearing all this ****e during the year (only over the last few days the Spurs game in Wembley has been front and center of the buildup), so let him have his moment.

Flipside is, that vid will be dragged up again as soon as he ****s up next season, but I prefer videos like this of our lads actually bigging up stuff they've done as opposed to some sun-drenched, Baywatch-scored, ab-showing-off, ice-cream-eating ****story.

More like insecurity I'd say. You want players to brush these things off typically, some of the cocky ones will want to make a point but with Dejan you get the impression he feels he needs to - probably because the criticism has been felt so keenly.

I really dread him strutting along Anfield a calling himself a World Cup winner and the best defender in the world. He'll be insufferable. Although France will beat them.
