From a results perspective you're wrong but to be fair to you. If you're ever going to make a statement based on assumption and feel safe that you're bound to be right then it would be that Lovren's return caused a downturn in form
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

And Dejan had such an accomplished game against the barcodes too.

It just feels like there has to be a connection there... I just can't get the facts to work in my favour.

Seriously when it comes to Dejan, facts don't really matter. He's clearly ****.

Even a packet of skips don't melt as quick as this guy under pressure.

A loan to west ham, brom or villa awaits. he will do okay there but at the end of the season their manager will go to the media and say "hmmmm dont think we can afford the 6m fee or his wages"....

This will happen every year for 3 seasons until we can cut the ****er loose....

Had a really good game yesterday. Has a few weeks in the team due to Sakhos injuries, a chance to finish the season well & give himself a chance of being a good addition to the squad next season.
                      Forwards.......

As is usually the case he isn't as bad as he has been made out to be on here, a run in the side and he has seemed better.

However he still has that air about him that he so often makes great last-ditch tackles because his mistakes get him into trouble.

I still believe that the main difference between a decent defender and a good/very good defender at this level comes down to how often you make mistakes. Being good for 88 mins of the game but making a couple of mistakes isn't good enough, and to be honest I think we have a few too many of those players.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think a top player is one who is consistent, and one who on the big occasion can concentrate and not make a mistake. Lesser players will let the occasion get the better of them. I think we have a squad of players who are hit & miss on the big occasion. And we lack that real world class individual who in a drab game will pull something from nothing on a regular basis.

Wont go down well on here but he's had a pretty decent 2015.

He was good yesterday best defender for us imo

He was decent yesterday (our best defender), bar a slip up following classic Glen defending, but it was mostly against a side with zero attack operating a front line rarely moving 5yds over the halfway line.

Make no mistake, assuming Brendan is still in charge, he'll be here next season.
