His hands are up and to me he pushed him all be it not very much

To me in the modern game you can't give the referee an excuse to make a decision

    It's harsh though

Absolutely not a penalty and extremely harsh on Lovren who had a good game otherwise.
      Are we winning?

Not a great angle for having given a pen, but if you see it from the other, as was on telly, as the ref would've seen it does look a lot more like a pen.
        Really?

Saying that the referee got it wrong and there is nothing that we can do (other than moan about it) is the type of naiveity that I am talking about. The referee has seen something that makes him think it was a pen presumably Lovren's hand to the back. The coaching staff should be making players aware of these minor things and tring of coach them out of our game therefore lessening the likelihood of similar things happening in future. It may be nit picking but that is what you need to do to become a top player and a top side. If you can getake I'd of these types of mistakes you probably save yourself somewhere between 5 and 10 points a season. (Yesterday cost us 2 points)

Never a pen. He jumps into Lovren, away from the ball. Like been never changes direction. If a bloke jumps at you, it's a natural reaction to shield yourself

Not a penalty from any angle.

Calvert Lewin steps across Lovren’s path. Lovren’s arm goes up instinctively to prevent his body from colliding into him, but he doesn’t shove him. Calvert Lewin causes the contact and then dives. That’s not a foul from Lovren.

I’m also wondering how good the ref’s view of it actually is, as it looks like no.18 runs across his eyeline as Calvert Lewin steps into Lovren.

TBH from that angle I can see why the ref gave it. Get your point of view, but still it does look a lot like a push.

yup the refs view too, can definitely see why the ref gave it. Absolutely no need to put his hands on him, idiot.

His arm goes up instinctively to prevent any real collision. Even if he doesn’t put his arm up, they’re still going to collide and Calvert Lewin is going to dive anyway.

It was soft but he was too close to him imo, too tight to the player. He knows by now what attackers will do, there's no need for him to get so tight especially inside the penalty area, daft from Lovren but we've grown used it by now sadly.

But Lovren doesn’t actually get particularly close to Calvert Lewin, he’s just following the ball. Their proximity is all down to Calvert Lewin’s movement, not Lovren.

Even if Lovren did anticipate what CL was going to do, what do people expect him do? Stop and let CL run onto the ball uncontested? I’d love to see the reaction if he’d done that!

The game is all about opinions, but if you can watch the 2 clips above and say it should have been a penalty (not that you can see why the ref was conned) then you are a complete ****ing moron who's opinions are worth ****. In my opinion.

Look mate, I can't be arsed arguing with you.

He put his hands up on his back, it's a ****ing foul at the end of the day regardless of what that blue cunt did.

He's a **** defender, end of. The sooner he's consigned to the bin the better.
