My main concern with Lovren is he is aggressive at heading the ball. Which is OK for VVD who can win a header more often than not, Lovren gets beaten far too easily. The obvious example of this was him on Kane @ Wembley but he was found wanting again at Huddersfield ffs.

Its not going to be ironed out of him now, he gets attracted to the ball too easily. Gomez has issues with the ball in the air as well but at least he has time on his side, Lovren is experienced but sadly lacking. It'll be a good day when/if we **** him off.

we need our defence to be a bit better... just a bit, like.

lovren loves to come out and attack the ball but often goes a bit headless as he would do this when he might have been the last man.
maybe with big virge behind him he could do this and be sure that there would be cover behind him.

also as you say, lovren loves to come for a header but isnt always as dominant as he thinks he is...
if they were to work it between them then the headers in central areas should be let for vvd to jump for, and then just let lovren attack the second ball.
the winning or losing of the second ball has been our biggest issues from corners or free kicks, so i cannot believe that our coaches are not training to make players stand off the original challenge and be more ready and aggressive in attacking the ball as it comes clear.
the amount of ball watching in our goal area is frightening, players are like statues.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

*This post is likely to come back and bite me on the arse.
Nah. Like Mignolet he managed a series of decent games at one point, but it's very definitely the exception that proves the rule/****ness.

At present I'd take Klavan over Matip and Lovren with VVD.
I make no apologies, this is me

Its crazy how some of our fanbase doesn't have a ****ing clue. No offence meant of course. For the Lovren lovers we should play him against Kane on Sunday so we can concede 3+ goals again just to shock the fans back to reality since the medication really isn't working.

No. We can't FFS! Slap your own selves back to reality.

I'm not suggesting that Lovren is the long term answer. I don't think any of our centre backs have been great (excluding VVD) and I hope we buy a new CB in the summer.
                Another MASSIVE game

the only question to an answer that is Lovren is " Which big **** **** in defense costs us in most games he plays"
