this is the thing and it is not going to change. Pity about VVD pen incident as he was ****ing brilliant shouting and dominating the backline.

He needs to be in our reserve centre-back pairing next season. Get another decent centre-back in the summer to partner VVD, and have Lovren with Matip as back-up.

Had my reservations about Matip when we signed him, then he looked very good and this season he has looked shocking... so **** knows. To be honest Klavan IMO has performed better than Lovren or Matip.

But yeah we need a partner for VVD absolutely.

We won't. Even VVD hasn't exactly been convincing in two of his three games so far.
