To be honest I don't think Lovren or Matip is the answer. Matip for me is too passive, you never really notice him in a good or a bad way, whereas Lovren is the opposite, everything he does is either bad or good (although a lot of the good stuff he does often comes in the form of a last ditch challenge often after an error.

I thought we didn't, but we do need new defenders.
Gomez is another that will fall short of the standards but at least we can give us time to prove us wrong. Lovren's ship has sailed but alas with 100k a week he will be certain to be around next year. I'll take getting rid of Mignolet and Sturridge next year and a few more the year after.

Gomez is a CB playing RB, if we see him as a CB we need to give him games there in the cup competitions or as sub late in games to get experience. He clearly isn't going to be a full back long term, if he doesn't get games at CB I seem him going down the Andre Wisdom route.

yeh, get gomez in as cb, hes defo no worse than lovren. absolutely no way back for this tit now.

klopp comes running out of his tech area to bollock him for diving in twice and trying to get himself booked/sent off, what a knob. enough already.

play a back three, with andy robbo and taa as full backs.

Just delete this thread so we don't have to talk about him. One of the worst defenders ever to play at LFC and that's saying something.

Oh, i'm aware of that, but we're doing him a favour by keeping him out of the middle - he's far too green to be trusted at CB. I've only seen him look comfortable in a back three.

I would've picked him today cos he's been good and has done well up against Lukaku in the past, but enough is enough with this **** cunt. Those two wild tackles on the right on Lukaku, what the **** is he playing at.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Like i said, we could easily go back three to aid the development of gomez, also helping taa develop his attacking game, gets the best out of both of them.

A real sickening result...Lovren shooting his mouth of as usual and being ****....Ref ****ing us over...and not the day for key players to be off form....defence still needs work on and we sure as hell need Keita

Sooner or later, we're going to have to be bold and try Gomez as a CB in a back four, because so far, we've only seen Klopp use 3 at the back in-game, rather than a preferred system.

He's had a steady supply of football at full-back, and will perhaps understand more of the issues he may face at centre-back because of it.

What did Lovren do today that was so bad?

He's ****ing brainless and Klopp is equally as brainless for picking him.

Just ****ing drop him the dickhead, he's ****ing awful.

Haha. That's the thing with him. He plays good, gets cocky, talks **** and then plays like a cunt. After spurs away he should of been drowned. Instead he gets more games ****ing useless cunt.
