I also think goal difference may end up being key. We have +9, Utd +18, Arsenal +20.

Goal difference is only a point. It's unlikely we'll make that up. But we are not fighting for the title here. In such circumstances teams hardly ever slip up and so every point counts. I don't that'll be the case fighting for top 4. Teams will slip up and drop silly points and we just have to pin our hopes on an emphatic finish to the season.

I think we'll finish the season better than anyone in the league. That confidence comes from having one game a week after Burnley and seeing how we coped last season. I'm sure all the players and staff at the club have a similar confidence level. As long as we don't drop too far behind at this point we are at now, confidence will stay high and we will reel them all in.

United have a tough run of games coming up and its quite possible that the goal difference that they've built is eroded over those games and hopefully we'll see a few more added to our total so it might not be too big a factor with them in particular.

that was my thought as wel, Quietly confident that we will easily catch up on goal difference, We will dish out a couple of beatings before the seasons out, And man U are winning ugly by the odd goal
