I'm kinda getting fed up of the perpetual balancing act. Let's go back to 3pm kick offs on Saturdays with no televised games until October. We'd record Match Of The Day and football would feel like an occasion again. Not this ball and chain.

i hope Markovic and Moreno are both on the bench, we are 3-0 up after 65mins and they get a good run out......

It will be very interesting to see if Johnson starts on the right hand side or the left.

The atmosphere will be electric. Remember we went through a phase of getting our opening game of the season as a cunty away game - often Spurs. Well its great that we are at home this season - i hope it is more comfortable than last years opener against Stoke though!!! A goalfest to start the season as we left off the last one would be uber-welcome. With tricky games away to City and Spurs after Southampton, then it would be great to go into those games with confidence....

I would love to see Newcastle do something against City.....even a draw. It would put the ****s up them when they play us in their first home league game......
