He looks absolute class. Mistake was frustrating but he'll iron them out along the way, no doubt.

Promising debut, tough place to try and integrate into a defence which has it's issues!

Going forward he looked good and he's clearly very swift which is always a good thing. He made one crackers lunge in the first half which was unnecessary and obviously he was majorly at fault for their first and I think looked like he was ball watching a bit for either second too.

Just hope his knock isn't too serious.

Was good for 35 mins and then unfortunately went to pieces. Culpable for the first two goals. Lovren didn't do him any favours but between the two of them.. they were liable for so much. City spotted the weak link and took advantage.

Early doors, tough debut for the lad. Hopefully his injury isn't too bad.

Good debut, I like the look of him. He'll work well with Markovich or Lallana on that wing. Coutinho just cuts in too much for him to work one twos alongside.

He was very very lucky not to have got more on Zabaletta though and needs to curb the diving in or he'll be targetted

Looks like a decent player who I'm sure will improve as the season progresses, but the thing that struck me most from those clips is that he only uses his left foot, even when using his right would be more prudent or efficient. He might have gotten a toe to the first goal had he been trying to hook around with his right foot instead of trying to awkwardly use the outside of his left boot. Of course, instincts are strong in situations like that. Just an observation.

Yep I said it in the match thread at the time. He looked horribly one footed, Riise cost us an important goal due to that **** too. Early days though.
