Riise was a good player, but not a good full back, I think Moreno could be a decent player but his defending is terrible and he shouldn't be a fullback. This was the point I was trying to make originally.

Thats your opinion and I respect that, equally there is another section of the fansbase who rate him and think he was very unfairly treated by sections of the fanbase ... you dont win all those trophies being a **** defender ... he was extremely attack minded and as such got caught out of position ... usually on the wing .. not in the ****ing CF's position

Riise had a few things in his favour. A top class centrehalf alongside him and probably at least 1 (possibly 2) of the world's best holding players in front of him

He doesn't do enough higher up the pitch to warrant the issues he causes at the back. It's often our left centre back who struggles. Is he being asked to push on so much? Either way I believe clyne does a better job on the opposite side of the pitch

Not too worried about Clyne at the moment. He's looked much improved at both ends of the pitch
