WRONG! Some of us were saying we should get Ryan Bertrand instead. Couldn't believe we spunked so much money on a relatively easy position to remedy (look how easy we remedied RB by buying a PL proven player).

He was is .. pretty useless .. hes has a handful of good games all season were you can say .. he looked pretty solid in that game .. it took Smith pushing him before he started to put some semi decent delivery into the box, His positional sense and decision making at times is atrocious ... occasionally drifts in field ..which considering he's a fullback is terrifying ... shoots when he should pass ... I dont know not convinced by him nor have I ever, not totally against the idea of keeping him and let him fight for a place against a better LB, but so far his performances whilst good at times are not consistent enough and he looks as daft as a bag of rubber spiders

He's a terrible defender that has been responsible for so many goals through his individual mistakes since signing for us.

He wasn't the only reason why we lost vs Sevilla but he was a big part of it.

He's crucial to Klopp's high pressing game and to be honest, Klopp looks to like him a lot.
