you will soon find out how good he is when we try and market him.

we will be lucky to get 6m from some 2nd rate spanish team.
3m now, the rest in performance based payments [means we only get 3m]

I think we could get some use out of making him a winger, with a new LB and him as back-up.
The times they are a changin'.

His weaknesses remain as they've long been - poor positioning, lacks composure and makes rash tackles. Successfully targeted by them for periods as a result. Much tidier second half. If we play him we need to work with what we have and offer more protection because he isn't going to overcome these flaws overnight.

His crossing is poor as is his finishing. Not for me.

As Graeme Souness said, he doesn't sense danger early enough. He has pace to recover at times (one incident today, where he heads it straight to an Arsenal player, and he uses his pace to tackle him), but if you're to have attacking full-backs, they better have a brain to assess the situation around them.
I think they are fair points, equally though I think small changes would means his positives out weighed his issues. At least if, as Polo suggests, the team acted in acknowledgement of them. Simply not diving in would often mean that he could recover a lot more situations, even if his positioning would still often be questionable.

surely now Klopp wont go into the season with milner/moreno, even if it is klavan type, experienced short term stop gap

Wonder if a fit Gomez is actually what Klopp is waiting for?

For the penalty...got a nibble on the ball first, faintest of touches, but a touch is all it needs. Altho really, how he ddidn'tmake a better connection i ddon'tknow.

For their first...we had the ball, Moreno was supporting and we gave it away cheaply. No chance for Moreno to get back, not sure if he can be too much at fault for that.

But he did get caught ball watching a few times. A better team might have taken advantage. But not the complete ****-up its being portrayed as today.

Unfortunately if you are clearing the opposition player out with the follow through, a nibble us not enough.

makes sense in theory but relying a young lad with a handful of top flight games coming back from such a serious injury is madness, seen with Ings its not plain sailing

It was reckless and was clearly a pen.

Loads seem to think a touch of the ball can never result in a foul. A foul is a foul regardless of touches on the ball. It's like handball, loads seem to think any touch with the hand is a pen but it isn't, has to be deliberate. He was reckless and was reckless in the box before that too but didn't clear the player out that time.

It was brainless, reckless and show just why Moreno has no game intelligence. He can't be relied upon and teams are going to constantly attack us down the left knowing he's a liability.
