The key word here is, consistently. Klopp had Milner there last year and Moreno didn't get much of a look in. Klopp does tend to stick by players for good or ill.

I know came on there v Sevilla but prior to that hes rarely figured at all there this season

Of course, if your manager has told you to provide width and overlap, and to provide an out ball to Coutinho or Mane, and that if you get caught forwards when an attack breaks down not to worry cos one of the 2 deeper lying midfielders will cover, then maybe the word of your manager would outweigh the words of a teenager who is providing a soundbite for the media?

Milner said himself he did not enjoy playing left back last season and think Klopp has mentioned Milner doesnt want to play that position, i am sure he wont have refused to play he just doesnt want to play there regularly.

Thought he did well against Chelsea but have to agree that I noticed a few times massive gaps on his side where he appeared out of position.

He's a left back, we don't score by flinging crosses into the box so of course he's not going to feature in the assists table. He gets into positions, that's his job, and it let's the wide players move inside so they can be a goal threat, because with Firmino up top they are our main goal threat.

People seem to think that he is this full back that is so good going forward that it justifies his inclusion. It's bull****. He gets into positions but ****s up the final ball. 18 appearances this season and 1 assist, no goals, is not good enough at all.

Moreno has 3 so far this season (Three, not one). All Champions League.

For comparison, Kyle Walker has 4 so far, all PL.
And he got 5 in total for Spurs last season.
