i fricken hate watching games - especially big games - in a busy pub. Too many knob heads who don't actually have a clue bout football. I think we need a chelsea 05 type of game.....hit them early and hit them hard......if we get the goal early, then don't ****in stop because we will need more than one. This is the game to go with the classic Rafa approach - big tempo early on and dont let them settle...... if we start cagey and try and get a feel for the game, then we will die. Because we are not going to compete in a game of keep-ball against the talents of Modric, Kroos, Ronaldo, James, Benzema...........especially when our midfield and defense is as wide open as Katie Prices ****pipe.
If Madrid do have weak spots though, then it is the fact that Pepe and Ramos are liable to have a fit of the Martin Skrtels and make a howler and that Casillas has made a few high profile fock ups in recent months. Put him under pressure early doors with some powerful shots and crosses...... it wouldnt be a bad idea to go against our standard approach either and attack the Kop in the first half.....
During the QPR game i thought we would have as much luck playing pick-up-sticks with our butt cheeks as beating Real Madrid. But we all have been here before - we all have gone in thinking the worst only for the team to bring their ****in A-game.
I just hope that the team leave everything they have on the pitch and give a good account of themselves. That we aren't all bitching about Balotelli walking around like a spoilt prick looking disinterested. That we arent all saying that Glen Johnson can't stop a cross and that Skrtel and Lovren are both dangerously poor. And also i hope the ref doesnt **** us over.....
