coutinho lallana
sterling
fills me with more confidence than playing any of our strikers at the moment tbh...

Same for me. All guys who understand the system and how we play. Coutinho could very effective with Sterling up frontOriginally posted by Helios Creed View Postallen hendo stevie

I would go for this line up tonight:
---------------------------------------Mignolet
Johnson-------------Skrtel-----------------------------Lovren-------------------Moreno
-----------------------Henderson--------Allen-------------Gerrard
-----------Sterling---------------------------------------------------Coutinho
---------------------------------------Balotelli"Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley

To be honest I think that's the team we will see, the only question mark is will he start Mario, which I think he will, and whether it will be Coutinho or Lallana. I'd like to see us pack everyone in the middle and go with a diamond to swarm over their midfield to try and cut the supply to the forwardsSack swinging like Dub-D40 on a door hinge

I hope we use the diamond, but the fullbacks will need to have top games, but since Bale is out I think the diamond is the way to go.

Depends how we use him. Messi played at the tip of a 433 and even Berahimo for WBA isn't the biggest. Like Sturridge, he'll be constantly on the move, spinning out wide, dropping deep, so will be very hard for the CB's to stick with him.Originally posted by Carras_Shin_Pads View PostAlthough he's got a lot stronger i just think he might get bullied a bit, we'll see
I'm curious to see how it might work, but maybe against Madrid isn't the match to find out.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
