Madrid aren't physical and we shouldn't have too many set pieces to defend. Victory will be ours.

Yeah but they will just be speculative free kicks on target that will no doubt fly in left right and centre. But the aerial battles should be a lot less frequent.

                Cant wait!

I get the worry as they're an excellent side with some great attackers but if the favourite always won this sport wouldn't be popular. We've beat Man Utd with Ngog upfront, we were woeful at home to Villa last season, people said we'd get destroyed by Arsenal and Everton in the next games we won 5-1 and 4-0 etc. Years of whining that we arent in it now days of whining that we'll lose because we are playing a good side. Daft. Not like we are even out if we lose twice to them anyway, we'd still have a shot at going through.

I hope we dont start slow and make it a chess match though, just go after them, Dortmund were crap last season, missing half a team yet ripped them to bits doing that (and should have gone through).

Edit : Sturridge is the big blow mind, think he'd have belted these at Anfield.

Two awful defences but their attack is far superior. We ll raise our game no doubts but it ll be a massive ask.

With Eminem back as full backs and Allen/Coutinho back in the fold we'll look a better team.

Still lose 3-0 but performance should be encouraging.

I've got a bad feeling that it could be embarrassing. Great to be back in the CL, good to be playing the top teams as that is what the competition is all about, but it could be a hammering nonetheless. Especially over two legs without Sturridge (i.e. any form of attack).

                              Thankfully it isn't two legs
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
