    Obviously.

What I meant is the scoreline over the two matches - i.e. a very comfortable win for them at our place and a hammering over there.

Still lose 3-0 but performance should be encouraging.

We're going to win and this forum will explode because people won't be able to say they knew it was happening and we're ****

I'm not as downbeat on this as many are. We're not playing well, but I think we'll raise our game. I'll approach it with a façade of bloodyminded optimism masking an inner fear.

Looking forward to this. Maybe Balo will score.

Defo the game for someone to make themselves a hero! Had it down as Sturridge announcing himself on the world stage but not to be.

I think we will win this...it would be typical of us, pull something out of the hat from nowhere in a huge game against a brilliant team...

That said, and I dont want this to start anything haha, but, and this is nothing against Rodgers at all who I think has done a very good job, but even with the same set of of players, I'd be happier with rafa in charge for this one as you'd just know he'd have us organised, compact, solid and set up to sneak a 1-0 win

Manc's will be rubbing their hands with glee at the thought of their hero ripping us a new one so hope we keep him quiet, an early kick in the balls for him would be aces too. I agree that we will up our level for this one, we always do. We'll give them a game, no doubt.

Perfect chance to really get our season going. On paper and form we should get hammered, but....This is Anfield.....

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I agree with the people who think we'll raise our game. We're capable of winning this. Time for our players to show some character and prove that they're worthy of the shirt. Any player who cannot raise their game against Real Madrid can **** off at the next opportunity. I believe we can get all three points. This is a huge game for Balotelli.

Such a pity we can't seem to get our attacking game going as Madrid's defense is poxy. Ramos & Pepe are a calamitous pairing.... could really be taken advantage of. Unfortunately for us Lovren & Skrtel are also a calamitous pairing.

I worry about our wing backs Ronaldo vs Johnson sends shivers up mine spine & hopefully Moreno is back and fit... he'll have a tough one vs Bale. If it's Enrique vs Bale then we're ****ed.

Sterling, Couthino, and Lallana will cause them problems
