If their on their game ..definitely. I think we'll score but the likelihood of us keeping a clean sheet is fairly slim. Very curious to see who Rodgers goes with up top and in defence.

I think we can win. They play football on the deck which suits us. We're above Arsenal, Spurs & Everton in the league, if we can get a result at Anfield v Real we're back on track in Europe & follow that up with a win against Hull & I dare say we'll have gotten away with our abysmal start & be on course for the knockouts and the top 4, which has to be the aim for this season.

The leagues actually not looking too bad. As for the CL, we simply have to match the worst result Basel get over the next two games.

Example: they win & draw v Ludogorets, we need a draw and a defeat. That way two wins in our remaining games would put us through, regardless of their result against Real.
      Forwards.......

I tend to agree with this, our form will improve at some point. Players are coming back into contention and once we get some fluidity back we'll be fine. The international breaks have done a lot of damage this year, but you can't underestimate the effect of bringing in so many players. We've got to improve anyway, my wife is pushing me to have a year off watching football and is using our form to say it should be this year...

Why would you take a year off watching football? Push your wife to take a year off shopping or whatever she likes to do.

Mancs won't beat West Brom, we'll win this and we'll be equal 4th and a good shout to make CL knockout stages despite playing the worst we have since Hogdson left.

I think Ludogorets will easily win tonight. Basel are living on last season's reputation - a bit like us. They are dire, probably the worst team in our group.

At least I can enjoy one Liverpool match without worrying about losing (which we will anyway). Just want to see Balotelli discover anything remotely linked to being a footballer and maybe Markovich make a mark.

Start with Borini and Balotelli upfront and I would fancy our modest attacking threat to unsettle their back line as much as their mega money and mega talented front line will unsettle ours.

Show them too much respect and they will muller us, but get some semblence of our pressing game going and I could see us getting some joy from this game.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Defo, theres no point turning this in to a chess match, they'd dominate the ball, we'd get frustrated and probably get picked off. Playing that way just doesnt suit us at all. Got to rip in to them.

                        Bale out of the game

Now they are only at 95% power we have that chance

Do what we did last time, go for the throat and unsettle them, go for an early goal. Let's start doing what we did to teams so often at Anfield last season. The atmosphere at Anfield has been wank recently but it should be good for this - the team needs a lift and it has to come from the fans. Looking forward to it

Think this game will be the polor opposite to the QPR one. No motivation needed, everyone knows what they need to do. Think itll be a high scoring affair for both sides. 3-3 that sort of thing.

                            Cant ****ing wait

Real Madrid fan on RAWK doesn't seem bothered, hopefully he's wrong!

"Yes, you are right about those stats. Bale has the ability to deliver ending product even if he's playing badly. The thing is that Isco is playing incredibly well and that he would be Bale's substitute, and has a great eye for the last pass and scoring ability too. Some people say that Isco-James-Kroos-Modric is the best midfield in terms of quality Madrid have had in 30 years since Michel-Gordillo-Schuster-Martin Vazquez, and they are probably right about that. Without Bale there is less pace, but way more fluidity as well."
