I don't think dropping Balotelli is an option until Sturridge is back.

However with Can/Lucas then Gerrard should be, I can't understand how he can play every single game and form not be considered he has something to offer but its ridiculous him playing so much.

I still think Balotelli will be alright alongside Sturridge too. He's just not a lone striker, a lone striker has to work his bollocks off for the team. Balotelli has shown that once in 10 games, against Everton.

Markovic is the most disappointing for me. So far he's shown absolutely nothing to suggest he's worth £20m. He's scared to take anyone on, and takes the easy option every time. For that money he should have been coming in at a decent level with potential to improve. He's got to start letting his talent show, or he could get lost with Lallana, Coutinho and Sterling all well ahead of him.

Otherwise the signings themselves are OK, but signing the strikers we did made us vulnerable if Sturridge was injured, and the worst has happened with him missing over a quarter of the season. If we can't get Origi to come in January then we desperately need to sign someone else.

For Saturday I'd go Mig, Manquillo, Lovren, Sakho, Moreno, Gerrard, Can, Henderson, Coutinho, Sterling, Lambert - with Sterling playing up front with Lambert and Coutinho behind. And Borini on the bench.
