Are you serious, they will compete for the statue award 2014. Borini or a reserve striker would be better to partner Lambert.

I would rest Henderson and play Lallana.

i hope to see a strong enough line up....for a few reasons:

1. I think the defense has been so ****e that they need to get game time together to build up the understanding between the centre backs and each full back as well.....
2. Our strikers (mainly Balotelli....but also lambert) have also been toilet. Need to score some goals pronto and get some confidence that they can hopefully bring into the league
3. Swansea are a decent team.....and if we don't put our a good team ourselves, then it is likely we would get turned over
4. The Capital One cup is our best chance of some silverware.....

With this in mind, i would like to see a team of:

I think Henderson, Gerrard and Sterling need resting. I understand that people are keen for the likes of Rossiter to get a look in, but for me that should be limited to the bench.........bring him on for 20 mins or so if we have the game won....

With the game away to Newcastle on Sat morning, i am hoping that we don't have another extra time and 45 kick penalty shoot out to contend with.....

Think I read something about Coutinho and Henderson carrying knock, Henderson seems to be having problems with his shoulder. I want to see Lucas as a DM without Gerrard in the side.

I think Rossiter deserves to start again personally. I'd also start another of the youngsters too, not sure who else deserves it though as I rarely watch reserves/youth games.
