I've been worried about every game we've played this season, personally i think it will be a draw. Would be a great 3 points away to Newcastle though, they've come on recent weeks & no doubts will be fancying themselves against us.

Just hope we show a bit of fight and intensity, which apart from the Spurs game & portions of the Everton game... has been non existent. We are just so docile and quite boring to watch.. it's like we are just going through the motions. The last 10 mins vs Swansea was much better IMO.. we went at them & we got the win.

So who's nervous and who's confident? I'm flitting between the two, so obviously I must be nervous and in denial. Really couldn't bear dropping any more points.

All depends on the line up really.

Newcastle are going to get merked. Standard procedure when we visit their place.

The one player I would drop before all others is Allen, wouldn't have him anywhere near the near. He offers nothing in attack and although he runs around a lot he doesn't actually do anything when he gets there, opposing players just dismiss him as if doesn't exist.

I felt we were going to annihilate everyone we faced from about January onwards last season, it was ****ing great. Can't help this season dreading every game and wondering how on earth we're going to get a result.

Need to win. I think United will get something from City.

                          I would play:

                          Mig
                          Man-Skr-Lov-Mor
                          Can
                          Hendo-Allen
                          Cout
                          Sterling-Borini

Can and Hendo covering each other.

Coutinho at the tip of the diamond as he seems to be in decent form.

Sterling up top with Borini as they can press high and stretch the opposition's defence. Ballo to come on as a sub if needs be, Lallana too.

What I expect Rodgers to play:
                          Mig
                          John-Skr-Lov-Man
                          Ger
                          Hendo-Allen
                          Sterling-Ballo-Lallana

He'll drop Cout and Borini and bring Cout on as a sub.

I don't, they are still a dreadful side away from home. Think they'll get tanked.

He's always a player people dismiss, yet when he's not there we wonder why we don't function as well. In home games where we are more offensive I see the reason to drop him. Away from home though, I think he plays a big part.

He might not create chances or score or even actually tackle, but he puts pressure on the opposition and hurries them into a decision. That's how we gain possession a lot of the time and is a part of why we were so good last season.

Gerrard might not do a thing all game but a couple of 60 yard passes and people think he's played well.
